Hayley Brown is a Fine Art Mural Painter and decorative artist working mainly in Egg Tempera and in Oil. She designs and creates works of art for Grand Properties as well as private commissions for decorative furniture and hand decorated instruments.
Her work captures the beauty and essence of Asian Temple Wall Art and Indian Miniature Paintings from 200 BC – 1800 AD. Influences include ancient Buddhist and Hindu Art, Mughal Miniatures, and the decorated palaces and Havellis of India. She has studied the historical art of Miniature Painting under Mr Ram Singh and Mr Ramu Ramdev of the Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh Gallery, City Palace, Jaipur, Rajashtan, India. Hayley also enjoys working on commissions in the style of famous artists such as the Pre-Raphaelites, Modigliani, Gauguin, Klimt and Van Gogh. Two current clients include Restall Brown & Clennell, Fine English Cabinet Makers Est 1905 and Joe Ramm Antiques.
Hayley teaches Indian Miniature Painting regularly at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and Buddhist Mandala painting, privately. She creates small personalised ceramic gifts, favours and is commissioned to paint Indian Miniature Style portraits of people's Homes & Gardens.
